New Mississippi Riverboat sets sail for the first time on April 11th

American Cruise Lines announced today that it has a special celebration planned for American Eagle’s Maiden Voyage, which departs on April 11th from New Orleans. To celebrate this exciting cruising event, the line has planned a variety of special events for guests.

Silversea launches inclusive shore excursions and WiFi on Mediterranean cruises

Silversea Cruises is kicking off 2015 with an enticing new programme that includes shore excursions and WiFi. This programme is applicable to new bookings made on or after January 15, 2015 on any of the line's 52 Mediterranean cruises this year.

MSC Cruises offers guests a balcony boost

Travellers looking to cruise in style this year can now grab a free Balcony cabin upgrade with MSC Cruises.
The new offer – which runs from January 22 until March 5, 2015 – is valid on selected MSC Cruises’ ships operating in the Mediterranean and comes on top of the current turn-of-year booking promotion.

MSC Sinfonia enters dry dock as stretching begins

‘Renaissance project’ moves on to second ship – lengthening and refit to take 10 weeks in Palermo

MSC Cruises has begun work to transform the second of its four Lirica-class ships with the arrival of MSC Sinfonia at the Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, Sicily.  
The work to lengthening and refit the vessel over the next 10 weeks will now include the addition of dedicated kids’ club areas from LEGO and Chicco – extending the exciting brand partnerships introduced on sister ship MSC Armonia. That ship returned to service on November 17 2014.

Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association adds four member lines

The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) has announced the addition of four Member Lines. Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, brands of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., and Croiseres de France and Pullmantur, brands of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., recently joined the FCCA, bringing the total to 19 Member Lines.
