Agents can tempt wine lovers with Celebrity Cruises’ new in-room tasting tour

Agents can offer their clients the chance to indulge their inner sommelier aspirations on-board selected Celebrity Cruises European sailings, courtesy of the acclaimed international TV series The Wine Show.
The leading modern luxury cruise line has developed a limited edition, interactive wine tasting experience in partnership with the TV series’ two presenters; Joe Fattorini and Amelia Singer.

Holland America Line to sail to Cuba on roundtrip Fort Lauderdale itineraries aboard ms Veendam beginning in December 2017

Demand expected to be high when Cuba cruises open for booking on 26 May 2017
Holland America Line has received approval to begin sailing to Cuba from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, starting with the 22 December 2017, 12-day holiday cruise aboard ms Veendam. Holland America Line becomes Carnival Corporation's third cruise line to be approved to sail to Cuba following the company's historic inaugural sailings to the island last year.

Responsible Travel today announces a staggering 121% increase in bookings for small ship cruises, which it attributes to a growing trend for authentic, local experiences on holidays.
From wildlife voyages in Scotland to floating boutique hotels in the Mediterranean and Antarctic adventures further afield, the online travel company has seen a marked year-on-year increase for small ship cruise holidays in the first quarter of 2017.

Tauck emphasises quality over quantity as the first of four ships returns to its fleet following complete redesign
Tauck, the world’s leading escorted travel and river cruise company, welcomed ms Sapphire & ms Emerald back to its fleet. After a long renovation programme, ms Sapphire was the first of Tauck’s four 110m ships to complete its radical transformation, followed closely by the company’s ms Emerald. The ms Sapphire is to sail on Tauck’s Seine river cruises, while the ms Emerald will travel along the Rhone. The two remaining 110-metre ships, the ms Treasures and ms Esprit, will undergo the same improvements next winter and return ready for Tauck’s 2018 sailing season.

Celebrity Cruises announces increased agent training on board ships

This summer Celebrity Cruises will be hosting seven interactive training events for agents across the UK on board Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Silhouette. Following four successful on board training events for trade partners in 2016, Celebrity Cruises has increased the number of opportunities for this year.
