Holiday Inn Express Dunstable has been nominated by local residents in the Hospitality Venue of the Year category at the upcoming Dunstable Business and Community Awards.
The hotel, managed by Redefine|BDL Hotels - the UK’s leading independent hotel management company - will face competition from local businesses at the awards ceremony on Thursday 10 November at Dunstable Conference Centre.
Robert Dinu, interim General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Dunstable, said: “It’s always exciting to be in the running for an award. However, this is particularly meaningful to the team, as we’ve been nominated by the people of Dunstable.
“We often host local networking events and our facilities are regularly used by the community, so we’re delighted to have been recognised in this category.
“We’re very much looking forward to attending the glitzy awards ceremony and we’re hoping we can bring the trophy home on the night.”
Hundreds of residents and businesses will gather for the ceremony and celebratory dinner at the Conference Centre, where awards will also include Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Customer Care Excellence Award, Tradeperson of the Year, Employee of the Year, Good Neighbour of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Bravery Award, Apprentice of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Sports Achievement Award, Retailer of the Year, Community Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Carer of the Year and Role Model of the Year.
On the night, money raised from the raffle will be donated to Dunstable Food Bank.
