Having previously achieved AIM Entry-level accreditation, the Foresight Centre applied for Aim Higher, the next level of the accreditation process, which demonstrates the venue’s continued dedication and commitment to improving standards.
Following a thorough assessment by an independent examiner, AIM Silver was awarded to the venue due to its superior service levels, exceptional quality and outstanding facilities. The accolade makes the Foresight Centre the only venue in Liverpool to hold this accreditation.
The news comes as fellow academic venue, Brunel University, recently renewed its Silver accreditation, having first received the accolade in 2011. The venue was re-assessed as part of AIM’s three-year renewal scheme, which is undertaken to ensure venues are continually improving and retaining AIM’s value as a mark of quality for buyers.
The accolade sees The Foresight Centre and Brunel University join a growing number of academic venues to have achieved the AIM Higher level accreditations, indicating that institutes of learning frequently possess the exceptional quality and service levels that AIM are looking for as a benchmark for best practice in the industry.
Commenting on receiving the accreditation, Fiona Bebbington, sales and conference manager said: “We’re very pleased and proud to achieve AIM Silver which is testament to the high levels of standard we operate and the quality of our customer service. By our engagement with AIM, the most important accreditation within the industry, organisers and delegates hosting their events in Liverpool with us are guaranteed a professional and enjoyable experience.”
Jennifer Sheehan, communications executive for MIA, says: “We are thrilled that so many academic venues are demonstrating the commitment and dedication needed to achieve AIM Higher. The AIM accreditation scheme encourages venues to deliver the highest quality facilities and service to exceed customer expectations, so it is great to see so many academic venues excelling in this area and seeing the real value that AIM accreditation holds within the industry.”
Other academic venues to have achieved AIM accreditation at higher level include: Arden, Radcliffe & Scarman, part of Warwick Conferences; Nottingham Conference Centre; and Well Met Conferencing, Leeds; which all achieved AIM Gold. The University of Cambridge’s Homerton College and Robinson College have both achieved AIM Silver.
