Packed June events calendar for ACC Liverpool

ACC Liverpool
ACC Liverpool is reporting its busiest June in recent years.  
The venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, is set to host 15 events next month alone.  
A total of 10 events will take place, including many over several days, in the convention centre with five events in the arena.

Work starts at International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney

NSW Premier Mike Baird and Deputy Premier Andrew Stoner announced today that construction has begun at Sydney’s world-class convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct - called the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney – a project that is part of a $2.5 billion redevelopment of Darling Harbour which will create thousands of jobs.

ACC Liverpool confirms UNI Global Union Congress for 2018

ACC Liverpool will host thousands of international delegates at the UNI Global Union Congress in 2018.
The fifth UNI Global Union World Congress will bring 3,000 delegates from more than 40 countries to the waterfront venue in June.  The organisation represents more than 20 million workers from over 900 trade unions worldwide.   
Members of the organisation’s board, which includes general secretaries from UK-based unions, campaigned to bring the event to the UK and served as ambassadors for Liverpool.

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre – judged Australia’s best

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) was named Australia’s best venue at the Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Conference in Kuala Lumpur on the weekend.
Operated by leading venue management group AEG Ogden, BCEC won Australia’s major venue award – Meeting Venue 500 Delegates or More – from a highly competitive field of entries in recognition of an outstanding performance in the period under review.
