ACC Liverpool completes latest phase of £2.3m refurbishment

ACC Liverpool has completed the latest phase of a refurbishment plan to enhance facilities for clients and visitors.
The venue, home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and, from next year, Exhibition Centre Liverpool, is investing £2.3m in the two year project.
Recent developments include the redesign of BT Convention Centre’s galleria and central atrium to introduce additional facilities such as new organiser offices and meeting rooms, including a new boardroom facility sponsored by E.ON.

ACC Liverpool appoints US representative

ACC Liverpool has appointed a US market representative as part of its strategy to bring additional international and North American-based conferences to the city.  
The venue, home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and from next September Exhibition Centre Liverpool, will work closely with Peter J Berry, certified association executive (CAE) of Berry² & Associates, LLC.

BCEC sets a cracking pace with convention wins for Brisbane

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) has set a cracking pace in the first two months of the new Financial Year, securing 25 new conferences for Brisbane, delivering an additional 35,620 room nights to city hotels.
This follows a strong end of financial year performance by BCEC with Brisbane’s scientific and research sectors set for a boost with the Centre confirming $156 million worth of new conferences during the previous 12 month period.

ISG lifts Liverpool into the future with link bridge assembly

ISG has successfully connected ACC Liverpool to its new interconnected sister venue Exhibition Centre Liverpool with the installation of a 30 tonne steel link bridge.
The linking of the existing BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena to the exhibition centre marks a milestone moment in the city’s journey to secure its future as a major international events destination.

BCEC hosts World’s Premier Horticulture Event

3,500 of the world’s leading experts in horticultural science have taken over the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre this week for the World Olympics of Horticulture – the 29th International Horticultural Congress (IHC 2014).
Experts from 100 countries have gathered in Brisbane to talk all things horticultural, everything from fruit and vegetables to health and an improved environment.
