Round of business wins for Exhibition Centre Liverpool

ACC Liverpool has confirmed another round of bookings for its new exhibition centre, six months ahead of opening.
These events include a combination of consumer and trade exhibitions which will take place at Exhibition Centre Liverpool which, when it opens in September, will make the waterfront venue the only purpose-built interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre in Europe.

Dubai World Trade Centre hosts 20 events in March

With the March event season already in full swing, DWTC has confirmed that a total of 20 events are set to take place this month, attracting over 6,000 exhibitors. Chief among these is the region’s leading maritime luxury extravaganza, The Dubai International Boat Show, organised by DWTC and currently taking place at the Dubai International Marine Club until March 7th. The show is bringing together nearly 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, and will attract over 26,000 visitors from over 120 countries in its 6-day duration.

ACC Liverpool welcomed BBC Worldwide for the fourth time for its annual Showcase event

The waterfront venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, welcomed over 700 global TV buyers over four days.  
Hall two of the convention centre was transformed to include 600 specially constructed digi booths for delegates to screen British television content throughout the day.  
Highlights included a star-studded dinner held in the arena with celebrities including Michelle Keegan, Russell Tovey, Kris Marshall and John Bishop.

ICC Sydney invites the world inside for a virtual look at its new AU$1.1 billion venue

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has today launched a virtual tour of the much anticipated world class venue, on track to open in December 2016, to a global audience in Melbourne at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME).
Kicking off AIME’s media program this morning, at Australia’s largest business events trade show, ICC Sydney has for the first time provided the industry with an animated movie that explores the sparkling new Sydney city waterfront venue and its magnificent views.

Sydney Opera House turns China red to welcome year of the Goat

The Premier of the Australian State of New South Wales Mike Baird joined Sydney's Chinese community on the Sydney Harbour foreshore for a special 'lights on' moment to light up the iconic sails.
"The Sydney Opera House is one of the world's most recognised buildings and we are proud to host the biggest Lunar New Year celebration outside of China," Mr Baird said.
"It's a spectacular sight to see the Sydney Opera House bathed in 'China red' as we farewell the Year of the Horse and welcome the start of the Year of the Goat.
