ICC Sydney's construction timeline is on track

One year on from construction commencement and International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), Asia Pacific’s premier convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct, is officially a third of the way to its opening in December 2016.
The centrepiece of the NSW Government’s AU$3 billion transformation of Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney is a AU$1.1 billion world-class development by Darling Harbour Live, a consortium comprising of venue manager AEG Ogden, construction company Lend Lease as well as Hostplus, Capella Capital and Spotless.

Record turnover for ACC Liverpool

ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool construction site

ACC Liverpool has achieved its highest annual turnover since opening in 2008.

The venue, home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and from next year Exhibition Centre Liverpool, delivered a turnover of £15.4m, compared to just over £14.7m for the previous 12 month period.  Figures are based on audited accounts for the year ended March 31 2014.  
Profit before tax saw a 25 per cent increase on last year to £380,000.

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is capitalising on the success of the AEG Ogden network of venues. 

As Group Director of Convention Centres for AEG Ogden, ICC Sydney CEO Geoff Donaghy has oversight of the strategies and management issues of nine of the world’s leading convention and exhibition centres, including AEG managed Los Angeles and Hawaii facilities.

Record conference season for Darwin Convention Centre

Darwin Convention Centre (DCC) is poised to end the year with a strong finish, reporting one of its busiest seasons in six years.
A combination of international, national, and regional conferences held at the Convention Centre from July to November attracted a record number of 9,000 delegates, generating $33 million in economic impact for Darwin and the Northern Territory.
