Caravan spectacular sets up camp at Brisbane Showgrounds

For more than three decades Queenslanders’ have been flocking to the Brisbane Showgrounds for the popular Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow, which opens today.
More than 70,000 people are expected to visit the show over the next seven days, which has been held at the showgrounds for 37 consecutive years.
Lovers of the great outdoors will be in heaven with more than 300 exhibitors on grounds showcasing the latest and greatest in caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, slide-ons and camping accessories.

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) has achieved Gold Certification under the world’s most recognised environmental benchmarking and certification program.
EarthCheck is the standard environmental best practice program used by convention centres and tourism and travel organisations in more than 70 countries around the world.

Footy fever hits the Brisbane Showgrounds

It’s the moment Queenslanders have been waiting for… the State of Origin team will be announced at the Naming of the XXXX Queensland Maroons Lunch, to be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds today.
More than 350 guests will attend the prestigious lunch which will be staged in the historic John Reid Pavilion, known for its soaring ceilings and industrial-style interior.

Royal ICC hosts budget heavyweights

Australia’s leading financial experts and political heavyweights descended on the Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC) in Brisbane today for the traditional Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) post federal budget breakfast.
Brisbane’s newest convention centre welcomed high profile guests including former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, award-winning current affairs journalist Ellen Fanning and Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt.

Brisbane to host the world's premier forum on robotics and automation

Self-driving cars, robotic assistants or robotics that fly or swim are likely to be on the agenda of a new conference for Brisbane.
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) has been chosen to host the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in May 2018.
