ICC has a hoot hosting three owls for Birmingham Children’s Hospital campaign

The International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham will be hosting three giant owl sculptures as part The Big Hoot, an initiative by Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and Wild in Art to bring together business, artists, schools and the local community to create a public art exhibition across Birmingham.

The CCD confirms five international association conferences – ECIO, ICMA, FIATA, SIOP and WCFLCR

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) will host ECIO 2016, ICMA 2016, FIATA 2016, SIOP 2016 and WCFLCR 2017. The five international association conferences will attract over 5,300 delegates to Dublin, generating revenue in excess of €7 million for the local economy. The successful bids were secured in conjunction with Industry Partners and Dublin Convention Bureau (DCB), a unit of Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority.

NEC delivers Event Week Live

The National Exhibition Centre (NEC), working in partnership with International Select Events, GES, River Street Events and Birmingham City University (BCU), has successfully delivered a six-day event management course branded ‘Event Week Live’, to BCU students. The course took place during BBC Gardeners World Live and BBC Good Food Show in June.

UK Drone Show announces speakers and first indoor first person view racing circuit

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Ofcom will be taking the stage at December’s UK Drone Show in Birmingham to announce the very latest drone and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) news to the who’s who of the drone industry.
The Drone Show is the UK’s only public exhibition dedicated to the safe use of drone and UAV technology. On December 5th and 6th, Birmingham’s NEC Arena will see the CAA take centre stage, discussing UAV and drone regulations with commercial and consumer customers alike for the first time.

The British and Irish Airport Expo set to land in Birmingham

The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and Birmingham Airport are set to host the largest ever airport industry exhibition to be staged in Britain or Ireland. The British and Irish Airport Expo is being launched by organisers PPS Publications and Events and will take place from 8-9 June 2016.
