Arena Birmingham and Resorts World Arena have become the arenas in the UK to launch anti-homophobia campaign “Ask For Clive”.
Ask For Clive is a campaign that encourages entertainment establishments to show solidarity against discrimination in the fight against homophobia and transphobia.

To calculate the added value of Congress Messe Innsbruck’s business activities, the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) comprehensively analyzed its economic effects on both the region and its people. The results of the study confirm the substantial economic and touristic importance of Congress Messe Innsbruck. The numbers also underscore the importance of event operations in wealth generation: 360 million euros in gross value added secures around 5,800 jobs in addition to generating tax revenues of 120 million euros and social welfare contributions of 62 million euros.

World-leading maritime exhibition returns to London

QEII Centre
The world’s leading exhibition and conference for maritime purchasing and supply chain professionals is set to return to London for the eighth year, held at the QEII Centre.
Taking place on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 September, IMPA 2019 will be attended by over 2,000 key decision makers from more than 70 countries, representing all of the world’s major shipping companies and affiliates.

Dublin chosen to host the 12th European Pain Federation Congress

Dublin has beaten eight European countries and won the bid to host the 12th European Pain Federation Congress (EFIC) in 2021. The congress will be held at The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD). This prestigious congress will bring together 3,000 multidisciplinary clinicians and researchers from the fields of pain science, contributing over €4 million to the local economy. Ireland has a long history in pain management research with the first subcutaneous injection administered for pain relief invented by Dublin doctor, Francis Rynd in 1844.
