The O2 treats guests to a summer fling

The O2 summer fling
London landmark The O2 last night hosted 60 guests for a summer party, to showcase Building Six, Brooklyn Bowl and the venue’s capacity for summer events.
Guests were asked to meet at the London Eye Pier at 6pm for a private MBNA Thames Clipper journey down the Thames towards the world famous venue, hosted by Channel 4 First Date’s Fred Sirieix.

The party then moved to the terrace at versatile club venue, Building Six. With panoramic views over Canary Wharf and the Thames, the terrace can cater for up to 700 guests for a range of party options, and was the perfect location for a tropical BBQ.

Food served featured two types of burgers, one with pulled beef and Thai spices, and one with halloumi marinated in pesto, cous cous salad with cranberries, apricots and feta cheese, mini fish and chips and crab with chives and crème fraiche, with Parmesan shortbread serving as edible sand. Drinks also took on a summery theme, with a summer peach Bellini, pina colada and an Aphrodite colada.

The final part of the night took place in Brooklyn Bowl - which can welcome up to 1,000 guests - for dancing, sweet treats and networking.

Becci Thomson, business development manager at The O2, says: “We are renowned for our hospitality and the varied, fun and memorable events we provide. Last night was no exception and we thoroughly enjoyed treating guests to the boat trip, tropical BBQ party and bowling at Brooklyn Bowl. It was the ideal way to showcase even more of what our venue can do.”
