Virgin Atlantic continues expansion at Manchester Airport

The airline will offer more than 43,000 additional seats to Orlando, Barbados and Las Vegas increasing capacity by 11% versus Summer 2019
Virgin Atlantic has announced an expanded flying operation out of Manchester Airport for Summer 2020, while Virgin Holidays has unveiled five brand new retail stores, offering increased choice for leisure customers travelling from the Manchester region and immersive ways for customers to book holidays.

TAP Air Portugal launches flights to Banjul

Gambia's capital is TAP’s latest destination in Africa
TAP Air Portugal, the leading airline between the UK and Portugal, has launched flights to Banjul, capital of The Gambia. The inaugural flight Lisbon – Banjul took place on Saturday 26 October 2019 with a regular operation now offering three flights a week departing from Lisbon.

TAP makes it easier to buy upgrades with innovative app
The latest innovation from TAP Air Portugal means it’s now even easier for passengers to secure an upgrade to Business class. As of this month, customers can now bid for an upgrade 24 hours before a flight by joining a real-time, live auction on an app developed by SeatBoost – a US software company that makes it easier to bid on more comfortable business class seats up to 60 minutes before departure.

Flybe brightens winter flying with new jet service from Edinburgh

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is increasing capacity at peak times on its popular London City flights from Edinburgh Airport to meet demand from the business community when it is particularly high. Starting on 1st December as part of its 2019-20 Winter schedule, a 98-seat E190 aircraft sourced from Connect Airways’ partner, Stobart Air, will operate the enhanced service.

Flybe heads into new era as VIRGIN CONNECT

Connect Airways CEO, Mark Anderson, was joined today by over 200 Flybe leaders for the long-awaited unveiling of the airline’s new name as it enters a new era as an independent company under the Virgin brand with the name, Virgin Connect.
