airberlin expands its Caribbean network

In winter 2014/15 airberlin will be increasing the frequency of its flights to the Caribbean and at the same time further expanding its tourist services from Dusseldorf and Munich. From November 2014 there will be two extra non-stop flights from Dusseldorf to Varadero in Cuba and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.

Flights to India now available for booking with airberlin

airberlin has extended its codeshare agreement with its strategic partner Etihad Airways to include flights to India. Daily connections are now available via Abu Dhabi to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai and New Delhi. Tickets to these six destinations can be booked with airberlin from today.

bmi regional Hamburg route supports local business and tourism, carries over 15,000 passengers in first 12 months

bmi regional, the UK’s most punctual scheduled airline, has more than tripled the number of passengers it carries each month on its Bristol to Hamburg route since launching 12 months ago (on 13 February, 2013). The service carried over 15,000 passengers in its first twelve months, bringing commercial benefit to the south west and boosting tourism.

Jersey flights return to London Oxford Airport from summer 2014

New introductory special themed package deals on offer

Marking 30 years of Channel Island travel this year, C.I. ‘Land, touch and go' - Orlando Airport fort to offer fast-track clearance to international travelers

SITA provides biometrics kiosks to fast-track international arrivals

Orlando International Airport is the first to offer international travelers from visa waiver countries the option to 'land, touch and go', using SITA's Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks to self-process for faster US border clearance. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) announced today that arriving passengers from 37 visa waiver countries can now enjoy quick and easy processing at US customs and immigration.
