More Flights to international destinations will take off from Munich Airport again in June

Lufthansa resuming nonstop flights to Chicago and Los Angeles
The number of flights on offer from Munich Airport will be expanded once more over the coming weeks following the drastic reduction due to the coronavirus pandemic. Over the past few months, international air travel in particular had come to a virtual standstill on account of the numerous travel restrictions. Now, many airlines are starting to gradually ramp up their operations once again in June.

Helsinki Airport receives an esteemed airport industry award: Best Airport in Northern Europe

Passengers selected Helsinki Airport as the Best Airport in Northern Europe for the fourth time already in the international airport service survey conducted by Skytrax.
Amongst airports of a similar size, Helsinki placed 2nd overall in the 20 to 30-million passenger category and was the best in Europe for this section of the survey.

First Air New Zealand repatriation flight takes off for Frankfurt

The first of several flights Air New Zealand is operating for the German Government to repatriate stranded German nationals has departed Auckland International Airport.
An Air New Zealand Boeing 777-300 departed Auckland at 4.30pm for Frankfurt via Vancouver and is expected to land at Frankfurt am Main Airport early morning on Saturday 4 April.
