Egyptair resumes Luxor flights from Heathrow

Travellers interested in ancient Egypt or Nile cruises can now fly directly to Luxor following news that Egyptair has launched direct weekly flights between Heathrow and Luxor with return prices starting at £380.
The five hour and twenty minute flight leaves London Heathrow at 17:00 and arrives in Luxor at 23.20. Return flights operate on Monday leaving Luxor at 10am and arriving in London at 14:30.  

The Egyptair modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft has 144 seats: 24 in business class and 120 in economy class. Egyptair provide full on board services including free meals, beverage and individual screens for entertainment in both economy and business class  

Rasha Azaizi, UK Director, Egyptian Tourism Authority warmly welcomed the new flight and said: “We are delighted that Egyptair will be resuming flights between London and Luxor. We look forward to welcoming British travellers on this service which will connect them directly them to some of the world’s greatest cultural landmarks, including the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the treasures of Tut-Ankh-Amoun and the Luxor and Karnak Temples. Luxor has an array of beautiful hotels such as the historic Old Winter Palace and is perfectly placed for dual centre holidays. Visitors can combine their stay in Luxor with a luxury Nile cruise up to the hustle and bustle of Cairo, or spend time relaxing at the fantastic beach resorts at Hurghada and the world famous Red Sea Riviera.”
