Frankfurt Airport launches new relaxation areas

You checked in your bags, went through the security check, and still have some time left until your departure? Or you are a transfer passenger looking to unwind between two flights?
Two new relaxation areas at Frankfurt Airport give passengers the opportunity to pause and linger a while, make themselves comfortable, and dream of far-away destinations in a lounge-style atmosphere fitted with ergonomic loungers, club chairs, and stools.

Transparent walls in the relaxation areas ensure extra privacy and a sense of well-being. For passengers who want to work, there are plenty of electrical outlets in the relaxation and seating areas where they can charge their devices. They can also take advantage of free Wi-Fi. The new relaxation areas can be found near Gate Z11 in Terminal 1 and opposite Gates E2-E5 in Terminal 2. Additional rest areas are located by Gates A 26, A 50, and B 42, as well as opposite gates D1-D4 in Terminal 2.

With its slogan “Gute Reise! We make it happen," Frankfurt Airport's operator Fraport is systematically focusing on passengers and their individual needs. All of its employees are making a valuable contribution with their personal commitment. Fraport is also taking its slogan as the inspiration to develop more and more new services and measures aimed at continuously improving the quality of stay and customer friendliness at Germany's most important transport hub while perfecting the travel experience.
