Monaco & British Airways launch the Passport to Monte Carlo

The Monaco Government Tourist Authority and British Airways introduce the ‘Passport to Monte Carlo’; an exclusive new offer that includes complimentary return helicopter transfers between Nice and Monaco during the winter season, and a departure transfer from Monaco to Nice during the summer season.

British Airways customers will be able to enjoy a luxury start to their holiday by being flown into the glamorous principality of Monaco via helicopter. Taking only seven minutes, it is the fastest way to reach the heart of Monaco and takes a scenic route that offers spectacular views of the coastline between Nice and Monaco. Guests will then be whisked from the helipad to the guest’s hotel of choice via a shared transfer. In addition, the ‘Passport to Monte Carlo’ includes entrance coupons to a variety of museums and attractions in the principality of Monaco, including the Oceanographic museum, aquarium and Zoological terraces.

British Airways Holidays’ managing director, Claire Bentley, said: “We are always looking for ways to create the ultimate holiday experience for our customers. This incredible new offer will mean travellers to Monaco can arrive in serious style. I’m already searching for a weekend in my own diary.”

Monaco Tourist Authority's managing director, Stephan Roberge, said: "We are delighted to offer our "Passport to Monte Carlo" exclusively for all British Airways Holidays customers, as it will give them an opportunity to make the very most of their experience with us."

Long known as the playground for the rich and famous, Monaco continues to shine as the place to seen in Europe.

The second smallest country in the world, it enjoys over 300 days of sunshine every year making it the perfect weekend escape for those in search of some sun. It is internationally recognized for its beautiful Palace, luxury hotels, Michelin starred restaurants and having more Ferraris per capita than anywhere else. This year, Monaco will be celebrating the launch of Formula E on 9th May, the new FIA single-seater championship and the world's first fully-electric car racing series, which will take place on the famous Grand Prix route. This exciting new sporting event will take in some of Monaco’s other key landmarks including the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo, the marina and the architecturally striking Yacht Club de Monaco, that opened in June 2014 and was designed by Sir Norman Foster.
