AEGEAN increase UK routes in Summer 2015 including a new direct route to Heraklion, Crete

AEGEAN is to launch a new direct route from the UK to Heraklion, Crete from Gatwick airport on 21st June 2015 with up to 6 flights a week.  The airline will also renew their summer flight to Athens from Birmingham airport and the once seasonal Athens flights from Manchester Airport are now an “all year” round service.

The flights will be performed with one of the youngest fleets in Europe, comprising 56 aircraft, after AEGEAN´s recent investment in new additional Airbus A320ceos. The company´s new timetable includes a network of 134 destinations, 100 international in 42 countries and 34 domestic, with 15,000,000 available seats.  Two million more seats than in 2014.  

AEGEAN offers both economy and business class travel from the UK to Heraklion in Crete and from Heathrow and Gatwick airports to Athens.  AEGEAN is the only full service carrier to serve Greece from UK regional airports meaning all passengers receive complimentary on board food and drink so your holiday begins when you step on board.
