ICE strikes 7 year deal to provide FX Services at LAX Airport

Global foreign exchange and prepaid currency card provider, ICE – International Currency Exchange, has secured one of the most coveted foreign exchange airport contacts in the world. Extending a relationship that has already spanned 30 years, ICE has won a new 7-year contract at Los Angeles Airport. Under the new agreement, worth $50 million, ICE will operate 14 new branches at the airport, including in the new Tom Bradley International Terminal, delivering a range of currency exchange services for international travellers.

Featuring cutting edge design and monumental art installations, Tom Bradley International Terminal opened in 2013 to become the flagship terminal at LAX, one of the world’s busiest airports. The terminal offers an array of high-end retail stores, restaurants and bars that give travellers a modern, luxurious lounge experience. The new ICE branches at the airport have been designed by GH+A, the award winning retail designers. Vibrant, eye-catching and innovative, the new branches will perfectly complement the dynamic spaces at the airport and will help ICE attract and deliver a swift and convenient FX service to travellers using the airport.

Koko Sarkari, COO of ICE, comments, “This is a significant contract win for ICE, which builds on a long-standing relationship with LAX Airport and underlines our position as a global leader in delivering convenient and competitive foreign exchange services. Business and leisure travellers passing through LAX will benefit from access to a wide range of currencies at newly fabricated ICE branches which have been designed to be an integral part of the total customer experience at this amazing new passenger terminal.”
