Budget opens at Birmingham’s NEC

Budget Car and Van Rental are pleased to announce the opening of their brand new store at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC), offering affordable car and van rental services to the millions of visitors using the centre every year.

Budget Car and Van Rental will now offer car and van hire to visitors, contractors and NEC employees from its conveniently located store on the Golden Mile - so called because it is the distance from Birmingham International Train Station through the NEC to the Resorts World hotel - where thousands of people visit every week.  It also offers customers easy access to the motorway and boasts fantastic transport links.

Nina Bell, Avis Budget Group Managing Director for the Northern EMEA Region, said: “The NEC holds over 500 events each year, welcoming around 2.1m visitors and 33,000 exhibitors, so we expect this location to be very busy from the get-go, particularly as we are located in a prime spot that is within easy reach for any business or leisure traveller looking for quality car hire and first class customer service.

“The NEC is such a busy area of Birmingham, not only with conference and exhibition visitors, but also those enjoying the concerts and sporting events at the arena and shopping and entertainment at Resorts World.  We look forward to offering all of these people our flexible and convenient service.”

Budget has a wide range of cars from sporty hatchbacks to spacious people carriers, and all vans, from small wheel base to large wheel base, come with standard specification of air-conditioning, Bluetooth and rear-parking sensors. To make the journey simple and straightforward, there are also extras like GPS, additional driver cover and child seats.

The rental store can be found at The NEC, The Piazza, Pendigo Road, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
