AlliedPRA offices named as finalists for the 2017 ADMEI Achievement Awards

AlliedPRA, Inc., a global leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, has announced that 8 entries from AlliedPRA offices have been named as finalists for the prestigious Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) 2017 Achievement Awards according to Fran Rickenbach, CAE, IOM, Executive Vice President of ADMEI. The winners will be announced at the ADMEI Awards Gala on Saturday evening, January 21, 2017 in Barcelona

The AlliedPRA offices in the Achievement Award finals include:
AlliedPRA Atlanta – “Rock the Block!” – Best Innovative Events $200,001 - $500,000
AlliedPRA Hawaii – “Aloha Polo” – Best Innovative Events $500,001 and Up
AlliedPRA New England – “Farm to Concert” – Best Logistics - Transportation
AlliedPRA Northern California – “Vintage VWx, Cult Wines, Million Dollar Mansions & More – The Ultimate Northern California Experience” – Best Tour Program
AlliedPRA Northern California – “Capturing the Ungettable Get” – Best Overall Program  

In addition, the following AlliedPRA offices were named in the Excellence Award categories: AlliedPRA Dallas/Fort Worth, is a finalist for “Winners Wanted at the Fix Saloon” for Excellence in Meeting Services and AlliedPRA Hawaii is a finalist for “The Big Kahuna – Riding Two Waves” for Excellence in Incentive Travel Programming or Service. This marks the 11th consecutive year AlliedPRA has been recognized by ADMEI with finalists in the ADMEI Achievement and Excellence Awards. Additionally, Erin Gremillion, DMCP, National Sales Manager, AlliedPRA New Orleans is nominated for the Destination Management Rising Star.

The 2017 ADMEI Achievement Awards winners are chosen through an online voting system, where a panel of judges selects their top choice from virtual storyboards presented by the finalists in each category. The 2017 ADMEI Achievement Award Winners will be announced at the annual conference in Barcelona, Spain on January 21, 2017.  

ADMEI is the only global non-profit association dedicated to increasing the professionalism and effectiveness of destination management through education, promotion of ethical practices and availability of information to the meetings, convention and incentive travel industries, as well as to the general public.
