Event company TLC branch out to create commercial festive décor

As if Christmas wasn’t busy enough with over twenty corporate and private events to plan in the month of December alone, the award-winning Manchester based event management company, the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC), has spread its business wings into designing and producing the festive décor for leading hospitality venues in the north west.

“I have designed the Christmas interior styling for the homes of many private individuals for a number of years now” says TLC managing director Liz Taylor

“And last year we were asked to create a unique festive display for a fabulous restaurant in south Manchester and one in Manchester’s trendy Spinningfields; Victors and Neighbourhood.  This was a huge success for the client and we received great feedback, and so, the opportunity has evolved from there for us to get more involved this year, and grow the number of venues that we are working with.”

This month sees TLC designing festive trimmings for Neighbourhood Manchester and Victor’s in Hale once again, with the addition of the brand new Neighbourhood Liverpool restaurant.  The company also has four other commercial projects in the pipeline this year, as well planning the festive décor for a dozen private homes in both the north west and London.

“I have always enjoyed designing the décor for the homes of our clients – I see it as unique chance to reflect a little of their personality into the festive style, which they love.  The more eccentric they are, the more theatrical the décor!” says managing director Liz Taylor

“Extending this into commercial projects is an exciting new opportunity for TLC, and of course requires a slightly different design focus.  The work uses all our existing skills, creativity and the elements of theatrical production for which we are well-known, channeling them into the corporate arena.  Our aim is to create décor that reflects the festive spirit but also promotes the brand of the business, and of course, becomes a real talking point…so be prepared to expect the unexpected!
