The agency, based in Henley-on-Thames, has seen turnover double in the last three years, with a raft of new business wins and strong client retention. Mexia has added several new clients to its portfolio in the last year alone, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau, Finnish event tech company Catchbox, event networking app Grip and London-based venue Victory Services Club.
New recruits have also joined the agency with the recent appointment of Account Director Eveleen Hatch, a PR professional and former journalist with over 30 years’ experience, and a new Digital Marketing Coordinator, Henry Earle A’Hern, to strengthen the firm’s digital team.
Commenting on the re-brand, Mexia Managing Director Kursha Woodgate said: “I can’t quite believe it has been ten years since I first opened up a laptop in the spare bedroom and started Mexia. I wanted to create an agency with a culture that focused on nurturing our team and feeding creativity, supported by a professional approach and commitment to journalistic standards. I’m very proud of the team for taking us on the journey so far and grateful to our amazing clients who continue to support us. We’re now looking forward to the next ten years!”
Established in January 2006, Mexia Communications represents a range of venue, destination, event technology and event supplier clients including Twickenham Experience, The Royal College of Physicians, Sadler’s Wells, Slido, Poken, Central Hall Westminster and RIBA Venues.
