Zafferano extends reach across Royal Museums Greenwich’s catering list

Zafferano, one of the UK’s most creative event caterers, has extended its reach across the whole of Royal Museum Greenwich’s venue portfolio, following 4 years on Cutty Sark’s catering list.

Royal Museums Greenwich includes a collection of striking heritage venues. This includes the architectural icons of the National Maritime Museum, Inigo Jones’s celebrated Queen’s House, and Sir Christopher Wren’s Flamsteed House at the Royal Observatory through to the more unusual Peter Harrison Planetarium and the last surviving 19th century tea clipper, the Cutty Sark.

Zafferano will offer visually engaging and mouth-watering menus, bringing their signature high-concept and personalised approach to hospitality; raising the bar for any corporate event at Royal Museums Greenwich.

The caterer will also underpin creativity with an empathetic approach to the client’s business intention and create solutions which meet and surpass the demands for any event; keeping the client in the spotlight and delivering a performance which every guest will remember.

Commenting on the listing, Julian Saipe, managing director at Zafferano said: “Unique, heritage venues remain a key focus for Zafferano over 2016. We have built up a reputation in this sector, year-on-year. Securing an extension across the whole of the Royal Museums Greenwich portfolio is a big achievement for us. We have always enjoyed working with Cutty Sark and this decision reflects the confidence that the venue collection has in our work.

Saipe continues, “Royal Museums Greenwich literally bursts with potential, a stunning selection of venues with everything from grand reception rooms to intimate banqueting spaces. Being able to work across such variety gives us an opportunity to further demonstrate our esoteric, playful and imaginative approach to create those ‘one-off’ experiences for which we have become known.”

Catherine Owen, event sales and marketing manager for Royal Museums Greenwich, said of the appointment: “We are delighted to continue and grow our partnership with Zafferano across the whole Royal Museums Greenwich portfolio of venues. The team at Zafferano are incredibly passionate about food and service and bring such a creative flair to events that they are an ideal fit with all of our unique and heritage spaces.”
