South Queensferry Sodexo staff join ‘Mission Christmas’ charity drive
Staff at leading catering company Sodexo have ditched their usual office ‘Secret Santa’ to support a charity drive to ensure every local child receives a gift this Christmas.
Instead of swapping gifts with colleagues, the food specialists, who cater for a range of prestigious venues and events from its South Queensferry headquarters, have been donating presents to Forth 1’s, Cash for Kids ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal.

The annual fundraising initiative collects gifts for disadvantaged children and young people, aiming to make Christmas better for the 1 in 5 children living in poverty.

Sandy Robson, Account Director at Sodexo, said: “We decided that supporting this fantastic, local cause was a far more positive way of spreading Christmas cheer than our usual office ‘Secret Santa’.

“This is the second year we have supported ‘Mission Christmas’ and we have had an amazing response from staff who have helped fill our donation box to the brim.”

Sodexo’s South Queensferry base has also been acting as a local drop off point, collecting Christmas presents from the local community to pass on to the appeal. The gifts will be donated to the charity before Christmas.
