Food by Dish cooks up a successful 2015

Food by Dish, London’s leading event caterers, has seen a record 22% revenue increase for the Christmas period, compared to the same period in December 2014, making it the company’s best Christmas ever.
Catering for 112 Christmas parties throughout December, including 4,605 covers in one week, this comes off the back of what has been a successful year for the Greenwich based caterers. The team was listed at the Science Museum and Eventim Apollo this year, adding significantly to their current 25 unique venue portfolio, and sees a further strengthening of their contract catering business.

Over the course of 2015 Food by Dish have seen their market share of events also increase across their portfolio, including 10 times the number of events hosted at Banqueting House where they catered for the Attitude Awards in October for 330 celebrities and VIPs including Yoko Ono, Vivienne Westwood, Sir Ian McKellen, Lorraine Kelly and Julien MacDonald.  

Their strong relationship with Merlin Events London also saw Dish cater an exclusive Valentine’s Day pop-up restaurant at Madame Tussauds for over 100 guests dining among the attractions iconic stars; while also featuring on screen in Michel Roux Jr’s Channel 4 programme, Kitchen Impossible

This year we targeted bigger and more prestigious events meaning our revenue and profit margins were higher, so it’s great to see the hard work, creativity and dedication of our team rewarded with our most successful year as a business. We have some big plans for next year and we’re looking forward to expanding further into 2016.”
