AlliedPRA announces Young Leaders Committee

AlliedPRA, Inc., a global leader in the Destination Management Company (DMC) sector, has announced the members of its new AlliedPRA Young Leaders Committee, hand selected by company peers and supervisors. The committee members include: Alli Shebek (Arizona, Account Manager), Liz Hansen (Las Vegas, National Sales Manager), Kendall Wilson (San Diego, Operations Manager), Sarah Howard (New Orleans, Account Manager), and Kelsey Linden (Northern California, Account Manager).

The individuals selected to be a part of our inaugural team will be tasked with working closely with AlliedPRA headquarters by bringing fresh insight and creative solutions for established company initiatives. The Young Leaders Committee will serve in an advisory and ambassador role to help to shape and move these initiatives forward. In addition, the committee members will generate topics for best practices, while serving on the AlliedPRA Annual Meeting and Marketing Committees. To further expand the Young Leaders outreach, AlliedPRA will sponsor one committee member to attend IMEX North America 2016 and provide a SITE membership to all committee members.

“It has always been the mission of AlliedPRA to develop young talent,” shared Denise Dornfeld, President of AlliedPRA, Inc. “When looking at the young professionals within our organization I see people who are technology-savvy, team-oriented and optimistic about the future. This group of bright minds is helping shape the way we respond to a variety of areas within the hospitality industry and they have a lot to offer. Every day I am impressed with their work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn and make a difference in this industry. It is only through hard work, dedication, and understanding how to work hand-in-hand with our younger counterparts that we can shape the future together. Everyone wins when generations can get together and understand each other and our new Young Leaders Committee is key to making this happen. ”

To be eligible, staff were nominated by a peer or supervisor. Nominations were open to Operations Managers, Program Managers, Account Managers and National Sales Managers that have been with AlliedPRA for at least one year but no more than four years and not more than seven years within the industry. The committee term is one year.
