Perth Convention Bureau releases Perth Product showcase

Perth Convention Bureau has announced the release of a new Perth Product video showcasing the various new hotel and infrastructure developments in Perth, Western Australia. Over the past few years Perth has undergone a period of rapid expansion and is currently in the midst of a number of transformative projects, delivering an exciting vibrancy to WA’s social and cultural landscape.

Featured on the video are the highly anticipated CBD projects; Elizabeth Quay and Perth City Link. With the public realm of the Elizabeth Quay development due for completion by the end of the year, progress onsite is moving quickly. The development will cover nearly 10 hectares and feature a 2.8 hectare inlet surrounded by landscaped terraces, boardwalks and promenades fringed by shops, cafes, restaurants and other exciting entertainment venues, located minutes away from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Located within Elizabeth Quay development will be the upcoming Ritz Carlton (2018) and nearby the DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront (2017). These hotels join the numerous hotel properties opening in Perth over the next 5 years, providing an additional 2000 rooms.

In addition, Crown Perth has transformed into a fully-integrated tourism resort with two hotels and work progressing on a six-star, 500 room luxury property Crown Towers, due to open at the start of 2017. The Crown Perth Events and Conference Centre development will provide approximately 4,800sqm of new multi-purpose venue space.

Back in the CBD, this October will see the launch of the new luxury hotel COMO The Treasury, opening at the redeveloped Cathedral and Treasury Precinct one of the most historically important and iconic sites in the Perth CBD.

Progress marches quickly in this cosmopolitan city with new investments enriching Perth’s landscape.
