Cost of business trips fall in Q1

Latest research from CWT shows that in Q1 of 2015, the average cost of a business trip fell by 7.2% in the UK & Ireland.
Produced by CWT Solutions Group, the second of its quarterly barometers shows CWT’s data from the preceding quarter and segments it into industry sectors, giving year-on-year comparisons to benchmark changes and development in the business travel industry.

The barometer covers air, rail and hotel spend, destinations, ticket types and much more. An example statistic is: ‘The average daily rate for car hire is down 3% year-on-year.’
