Barclays and Ogilvy Change join EVCOMference speaker line up

EVCOMference 2015 has announced that Barclays and Ogilvy Change have signed up to speak at next month’s event.
Abigail Wood, Vice President, Personal & Corporate Banking Events, Barclays and Dan Bennett, Choice Architect leading the Behavioural Retail and Merchandising Practice at Ogilvy Change join, what promises to be an exhilarating programme, focused on The Art & Science of Communication and Engagement.

The two-day conference at the Liverpool ACC on 2nd and 3rd July, will also feature sessions on the role science plays in making communication more effective; how brands seduce our subconscious while convincing the conscious; whether or not content creation is the problem or the solution and the four enablers of employee engagement.

Ogilvy Change’s Dan Bennett said: “What I hope to get across in my talk, is that through an under-standing of social psychology, cognitive psychology and behavioural economics, we can find more oblique, interesting and effective ways to change behaviour. I’ll be talking about some of our award-winning case studies, where we have applied these deep human insights to make slight changes that have had a big effect.”

Marco Forgione, Chief Executive of EVCOM said: “I am delighted that we’re able to offer our membership so much valuable and inspiring content for this year’s conference. Every day, our members create and produce great communication through their work and services, work that is critical for their clients. #EVCOMference2015 will help them to examine the value of ideas, innovation and creativity over two amazing days, while providing the tools to help bring about a positive change in behaviour, not only within their own organisations but in their clients’ businesses as well.”
