Commissioners look to EVCOM

Corporate clients and commissioners of film, digital and live events are swelling EVCOM’s membership as the association continues to go from strength to strength.
The association offers not only Best Practice guidance to procurement but also to metrics/ROI and a comprehensive portfolio of networking and educational events throughout the year.

New Membership Director Dave Comley commented, “Commissioners feel secure being part of a professional organisation within which they can develop their knowledge, network and meet potential partners for future projects. EVCOM continues to increase the involvement of corporate and government organisations in the wide range of events we hold. Our broad community completes the loop between client and commissioners – agency, production company, freelancers and suppliers to the industry. Clients and commissioners are attracted to our offering and we have seen their numbers double in recent weeks.”

The next big EVCOM event – EVCOMference – which takes place at ACC Liverpool between 1-3 July – is expected to attract many of these members.

EVCOM CEO Marco Forgione said, “Over the past year EVCOM has been effective in attracting agencies and production companies in the film, digital and live event industries. What has been particularly pleasing has been the tremendous support and endorsement we’re receiving from the brands, companies and organisations who are clients and commissioners. In just the past week 4 new client members have signed up to be active partners in our community.

EVCOM fulfils the need for an environment where leading practitioners can share knowledge and understanding, as well as celebrate achievement. A great example of this is EVCOMference where for the first time our growing vibrant community will come together for 2 days of discussion, knowledge sharing, insight, networking – and a great party in Liverpool.”
