The mia conference welcomes The Meetings Show as headline sponsor to mutually champion events industry

The mia has announced The Meetings Show as its headline sponsor for its 25th anniversary conference, ‘Stop and Think’, at BMA House London on Friday 25th June.
The conference has been built to not only challenge thinking but to equip delegates with practical tools and knowledge to sharpen their approach to their own development and business growth.

The Meetings Show is the ideal headline sponsor to reinforce the messages the mia wants to convey in its 25th year, as Jane Longhurst, chief executive of the mia, explains: “It is important to us to work with partners who have the same goal. The Meetings Show is about bringing people together, challenging thinking and driving opportunity. Our conference will do just that and we hope that, with the support of Steve Knight and The Meetings Show, our conference will be one of many successful initiatives we will be hosting throughout 2015.”

Organised by Centaur Exhibitions, The Meetings Show is the premier event for the UK inbound and outbound meetings industry, taking place 7-9 July 2015 at Olympia, London. Organised by meeting professionals for meeting professionals, it is focused around a large exhibition, networking opportunities and professional education.

Steve Knight, event director, says: “Both The Meetings Show and the mia sit at the heart of the UK meetings and conference industry. This expansion of our partnership is the perfect opportunity for us to work more closely together, benefiting their members and our buyer and exhibitor audiences. The meetings industry is at its most effective when it gathers together to do business, network and learn. This mia conference provides the perfect balance of challenging ideas and effective tools that will be of substantial benefit to all delegates and I urge the industry as a whole to attend and benefit from the education on offer.”
