The Appointment Group company restructure completes

In April 2014, The Appointment Group completed a rebranding, introducing new global divisions and a new website. The four new divisions, under the strapline Global Travel and Events Solutions, are Global Touring, Global Corporate Travel, Global Events and Global Private Clients.
This exercise has now been completed with a company re-organisation as of 1 January 2015. The Appointment Group Global Events business is now trading within The Appointment Group (UK) Ltd. All day-to-day business operations are continuing on existing terms in all respects and Events by Appointment Limited has become dormant.

The legal name change, at the end of the company’s financial year, is a strategic move forward to acknowledge the business as one truly global entity providing exceptional travel and event services as a whole to the Corporate, Touring and Events industry from offices in London, Manchester, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Melbourne and Sydney.

The business transfer demonstrates the company’s increasing global presence across the world, further builds upon The Appointment Group’s growing global buying power and offers more value to our wide and varied client base.

Group Events Director, Sam Robson, says “The benefits of operation under one company name allows us to more effectively track local and global trade with suppliers and vendors, bringing greater global traction to achieve the lowest costs and deliver enhanced, world-wide, co-ordinated services for our clients.”
