Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau at International Confex

The Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau is set to deliver “Meetings on a Plate” to this year’s International Confex event, at London Olympia on February 18th & 19th.
Located on Stand Number CF53 at the industry’s leading annual exhibition, the Bureau will be aiming to boost conference, meeting and business travel to Staffordshire by offering everyone involved in the industry an opportunity to find out more about the 35 meetings venues and associated services which are now featured in both a full colour guide, and on an entirely new-look website.

“Made in Stoke-on-Trent”, it all combines to deliver the clear message that this is one of the very best places in the UK to come-up with meetings on a plate.

Hoping to convince everyone at International Confex that Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire offers everything needed for the perfect meeting or event, the Bureau will be launching the new-look website at the event, and has also teamed-up with one of its members, Alton Towers, to offer all visitors to the stand a “sweet treat” - plus the chance to win tickets to the world famous theme park in 2015.

Conference Bureau Manager, Claire Williams explains: “Our new-look website, which will be launched at International Confex, has been designed to be viewed easily on mobile, tablet and PC, and will offer all the information that organisers could possibly need when arranging their next event, here, in Staffordshire.

“The site includes details of the venues which the Bureau represents and promotes - along with all the latest news, special offers and itinerary planning tips and teambuilding activities to help make it the perfect event.”

The Meetings on a Plate guide, meanwhile, is also packed with all of the information required to plan and book the perfect meeting, at the ideal venue, proving that Staffordshire really is “just your cup of tea”.  New venues featured within its pages for 2015/16 include The National Memorial Arboretum, Burton Town Hall, and Sky Conference Lounge and Suites at the YMCA, which join the likes of 4 star venues Crewe Hall, Swinfen Hall and the exclusive Weston Park.

A member of the Meetings Industry Association (MIA), the Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau also operates a free Venue Finding Service.

Copies of the Meetings on a Plate guide can be obtained from stand CF53 at International Confex on February 18th & 19th.
