One of the country’s leading catering and event companies is welcoming 2015 with a trio of Tyneside treats for delegates.For three months, from 1 January to 31 March, Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events is inviting companies to hold their conferences, meetings and events at three of the North East’s top tourist attractions for a flat day hire rate of £300.
The venues taking part in the offer are Newcastle’s Discovery Museum, the Laing Art Gallery and the Great North Museum: Hancock – all of which offer a variety of unique and memorable event spaces and function rooms at the heart of the city.
In recent months, corporate guests have enjoyed reception drinks in the shadow of the famous steam ship Turbinia at Discovery Museum and explored wonders of the ancient world – including a life-sized replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex – at the Great North Museum: Hancock.
In addition delegates have attended a variety of meetings, conferences and social events at the Laing, which houses an impressive collection of 18 and 19th century paintings and sculptures.

The New Year venue hire offer is charged at £300 + VAT between 9am-5pm only and half day events will be charged at the same price. Earlier venue access will be subject to a £100 + VAT per hour surcharge and this rate will also apply for access up to 6pm, after which normal venue hire charges will apply.
