Swinton Park appoints Sadler&co as UK PR agency ahead of 2015 luxury spa launch

Sadler&co has announced its appointment as UK PR agency for Swinton Park, commencing with the launch of the full-service Country Club and Spa, set to open in the second half of 2015.
The £5.5 million spa development at Swinton Park, a luxury castle hotel in North Yorkshire, will combine the restoration of traditional workshops and garden buildings adjacent to the Grade II listed castle with the creation of a new contemporary wing.

In addition to an indoor swimming pool and full spa and fitness facilities, there will be a 40-seat conservatory restaurant, coffee shop and Swinton Estate shop. Patrons can explore the surrounding 200 acres of parkland, lakes and gardens, while the Country Club is an ideal base for activities on the wider 20,000-acre Swinton Estate including cycling, walking, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, golf, falconry and riding.

A luxury country retreat, Swinton Park offers high-quality service and accommodation, with fine dining, cookery school, spa and extensive grounds. Its 31 spacious guest rooms, including five suites – one of which is set on three floors in the turret – are individually-themed to reflect the history and industry of nearby towns and villages, and include complimentary drinks trays and luxury toiletries by Molton Brown. Meanwhile the Bivouac at Druid’s temple on the Swinton Estate offers luxury camping in yurts and woodland shacks, along with a stylish café and shop.

Owned by the Cunliffe-Lister family since the 1880s and the ancestral seat of the Earl of Swinton, Swinton Park is furnished with antiques and family portraits, and offers an authentic stately home experience with all the warmth and grandeur of a traditional English country house.

Swinton Park is situated on the outskirts of the small market town of Masham, a ten minute drive from Ripon and one hour from the historic city of York. It is perfectly located for those wishing to explore the famous Yorkshire Dales and can be easily reached by direct train from London to Thirsk injust two and a half hours.
