Events staffing agency Off to Work launches new branding and new website

Off to Work, the specialist staffing provider for the events and hospitality industries, is celebrating the launch of its new website, complete with a new corporate identity and new London office address. This trio of announcements signifies a “new chapter” for a brand that has cemented its position as the staffing partner of choice for events venues, marketing and event agencies, luxury hotels and caterers across the UK, as it enters its 14th year of operation having provided people to more than 50,000 events.

Stylish and uniform, Off to Work’s new website is designed to streamline its services into an easy-to-navigate hub of information split into two distinct sections: People & Careers (front of house, back of house and ‘Platinum’ staff, plus permanent recruitment services for job seeker and employer) and Skills & Expertise (events consultancy and accredited hospitality skills training). Personality-rich images emphasise how people are at the heart of the business and the site’s responsive design is fully compatible with mobile devices.

The site also features a new, smart ‘Training Shop’ where clients can purchase places on a range of hospitality and events specific training courses accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and the British Institute of Innkeeping Awarding Body (BIIAB). Off to Work has delivered its Level 2 Food Safety in Catering training to over 1,000 industry people and has delivered the BIIAB Personal Licence training successfully to hundreds of staff, including training venue teams such as Wembley Stadium, Brit Oval and the Wyndham Grand Hotel.

In late October, Off to Work relocated its London team to new office space near St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London.

Founder and managing director Philip Atkins said: “Our relocation of the London team and our rebrand mark another milestone for Off to Work. We’ve moved into a fresh, open plan space which will enable us to strengthen our internal communication and keep the innovation and service developments flowing. Equally as important to us was making sure we could provide rapid and consistent support to our clients by staying as central as possible and we are delighted to have secured our new home. The new look achieved with our website is designed to capture the ethos at the heart of our company of enabling amazing experiences and to make all our services more accessible and user-friendly for our clients around the UK. This launch and our new office represent a significant new chapter for us and we're all very excited about the opportunities ahead.”

Since 2001, Off to Work has stayed true to its guiding principle of helping to provide some of the best experiences and memories people have ever had – something they achieve by remaining committed to hiring only the people most passionate about hospitality. The team is proud to have been highly commended in this year's Event Awards - Supplier of the Year category - which celebrate the best in experiential, creative and supplier sectors of the live events industry. This award acknowledged a year’s work in 2013 that saw Off to Work enjoy supporting a series of summer sporting greats. These included rolling out one of their most impressive pieces of training and service delivery for the UEFA Champion’s League Final, working with UEFA, Delaware North Companies (DNC) and Do & Co, to design and run an intensive, bespoke training programme in box excellence for 300 staff.

They also provided a full-spectrum staffing solution to the Patrons’ Lounges at The Open Championship at Muirfield in Edinburgh and also supported Amadeus in delivering a superb AEGON International Tennis Championship at Devonshire Park in Eastbourne, last June.

Off to Work is now further demonstrating its passion for helping to create magical, memorable moments with the launch of the second Event Photography Awards for 2015, a photography competition it founded earlier this year. The competition is open to any photographer, amateur or professional, with a keen eye for an emotive image and there are nine new categories available this year, spanning music events, weddings, trade shows, cultural events and more.
