Steve Byrne, managing director of Travel Counsellors commented, “Our corporate travel sector is the fastest growing area of our business, increasing on average by over 30% over the last four years, as clients recognise the value in the high levels of personal, concierge service our agents can provide. As we continue to expand and invest in our corporate travel offering, joining the GTMC as the UK’s leading professional body for TMCs makes solid business sense. The organisation’s focus on delivering the best standard of service, quality and value is reflected in our own vision and values as a company, and we look forward to working together to represent these standards in the industry.”

Established in 1994 Travel Counsellors has a network of over 1,300 agents including 200 dedicated corporate travel specialists operating worldwide, who in turn are supported by over 200 staff located in the company’s UK head office and across its overseas offices. The company has won a host of industry accolades during its 20 years in operation, including consecutive listings in the Sunday Times International Fast Track for International Growth and Profit Track 100, and the 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its international growth.
