Gray Dawes Travel partners with chauffeur drive company run by ex-servicemen

Gray Dawes Travel & Expense Management has announced its new partnership with chauffeur drive company - Capstar Chauffeurs.
Gray Dawes Travel & Expense Management provides a ‘ one stop’ travel management service to its wide corporate client base throughout the UK and has now added to its list of services by partnering with Capstar in order to provide its clients with a premiere, chauffeur driven, airport transfer service in the UK.

Capstar Chauffeurs was founded by two former army officers, Rob Bassett-Cross and Charlie Bowmont, with the aim of offering soldiers leaving the army an opportunity for employment. The company began trading 9 months ago and today employs 11 drivers, all of whom have previously served with the British Armed Forces. The company is the first commercial venture of its kind to employ and retrain ex-military personnel who have been wounded, enabling them to compete on equal terms. Their mission is to inspire those who are injured, disabled or facing adversity, providing them with a new career and a certain future.

Julia Curtis, Head of Sales at Gray Dawes, commented, “With our head office based in the garrison town of Colchester, we felt it was very fitting to form an association with Capstar Chauffeurs. In doing so we are not only providing our clients with a first class chauffeur drive service, but are also supporting ex-military personnel as they begin their new careers away from the Armed Forces.”
