ADMEI launches international DMC CEO Forum in Rome on 19-21 January 2015

The Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) will launch their International DMC CEO Forum on 19 – 21 January at the Hotel Boscolo Exedra in Rome, Italy. This dynamic two day program will feature highly interactive sessions with Key thought leaders from the MICE industry.
Future trends and best practices will be discussed, with a focus on the impact on DMCs and realistic future of the business. Attendance is limited at this inaugural event and early registration is highly recommended.

Lorenzo Pignatti, DMCP, CEO, +39 events, Milan, Italy, and chair of the International Forum, said, “ADMEI’s international membership has grown so quickly that it has become necessary that we meet outside North America. At the forum, a select number of DMC executives from all over the world will have the opportunity to examine trends and best practices first-hand with key industry representatives from a major hotel chain, international meetings association, European destination marketing organization and more. It will be very useful information for the DMC’s that attend.”

Pádraic Gilligan, Managing Partner at SoolNua, and co-founder of Ovation DMC, will engage attendees as he discusses The Evolving Role of DMCs: New Models for the Future.  Jennifer Patino, DMCP, CEO of Hosts Global Alliance and ADMEI President, noted “Pádraic’s insight into how DMCs must evolve to meet the changing meetings industry environment is impactful and timely. I would encourage executives to sign up early and not miss this.” The forum begins at 14:00 on Monday, 19 January and concludes by 12:00 on Wednesday 21 January.  Registration includes all educational programs, welcome reception on Monday evening and special event on Tuesday evening, Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast and Tuesday lunch.
