New business wins spurs larger Oslo office for ATPI Group

Leading global travel management and events business, the ATPI Group, has relocated its Norwegian operations to larger offices in Oslo following several new business wins.
The new operations centre is located in the Lysaker business centre near to the city. Opened in late January 2014 the new centre was welcomed with a launch event for clients, partners and colleagues of the ATPI Group business.

Led by Dag Kristian Amland, the ATPI Group’s managing director for Norway, the growing team offers specialist professional services for many of Norway’s top blue chip companies. This includes the comprehensive travel requirements of the shipping and marine and oil and gas industries delivered by ATP Instone; and the effective budget management and fulfilment of corporate travel policies by ATP Corporate Travel.

The office move comes in response to several new business wins over the past six months including the global corporate business for Höegh, an industry leader in the shipping sector. The new offices also allows for future growth, enabling ATPI Norway to meet the increased demand for its services in this region.

With several years of experience at Berg Hansen and VIA, Karsten Møgster has also joined the Norwegian team as the new sales and account manager and will be based in Bergen.

Peter Muller, chief operating officer for Europe and the USA, the ATPI Group, explained:   “High profile account wins coupled with three key new hires and a move to the central business district are all confirmation that the Norwegian market continues to go from strength to strength. To continue to drive this growth, investment in the Oslo office is key.”

“As a multinational business many of our clients are growing their operations in Scandinavia and we have worked hard to ensure our offices throughout this region continue to exceed expectations.  The high standard of customer service from our Oslo office means the Norwegian business stands in good stead to become one of the key offices of the ATPI Group in Europe, especially when it comes to managing and working with energy, offshore and shipping clients.”

The ATPI Group has operated in Norway for over 19 years with offices in Oslo, Arendal, Bergen and Stavanger. 2014 is set to be the Oslo-office’s record year in terms of client acquisition and team expansion.

The ATPI Group is one of the world’s leading and long established global travel management and events businesses. The ATPI Group has over 70 wholly owned offices and network partners in 41 countries around the world, and has successful operations in corporate travel, corporate event management, online travel technology and specialist travel management for a number of key industries including the energy and shipping sectors.
