Tourism Champagne launches first ever taxi advertising campaign

La Champagne, la Marne Tourism Board has launched its first ever taxi advertising campaign in the UK. The fleet of branded SuperSide taxis will feature the message “Champagne, savouring the best moments of your life” for three months. In addition, there will be further advertising on the interior tips seats and on receipts for passengers.

The three-month campaign will target commuters across London including mainline train stations such as Kings Cross St Pancreas, Victoria, Waterloo, the West End and The City. The taxi cabs will offer high-impact exposure and highlight Champagne’s attractions.

With growing arrivals from the UK, the tourism office is aiming to further boost tourism. The UK is a priority market due to its proximity to Champagne and easy access just a 45 minute high speed train journey from Paris. Marne is well known for the eponymous Champagne and wine tourism. The campaign will showcase the many other attractions available to suit all interests including beautiful landscapes, culture, activities and the idyllic French lifestyle.
