Mammoth Events win 3 Year contract with National Union of Teachers

NUT conference
Mammoth Events have been awarded a 3-year contract to produce the National Union of Teachers Annual Conference following a 3-way pitch.
The NUT is the largest teachers’ union in England and Wales and their Annual Conference is an important forum for the Union’s democratic process. Staged over a 5-day period each Easter the event is attended by 1,350 delegates, attracting global media coverage. The 2014 & 2016 events will be held in Brighton and the 2015 event will be staged in Harrogate.

Mammoth Events Director George Thompson stated: “We’re absolutely delighted to be awarded this contract and we’re really looking forward to delivering the event over the next 3 years. The NUT has never previously entered into a contract situation, choosing to tender every year. For them to make this commitment with us is testament to the successful relationship we’ve developed.”

NUT Principal Officer Karen Handley commented: “Mammoth delivered a great event for us in 2013 and we’ve been impressed by their creativity and innovative solutions. Moving forward they presented a compelling case for us to work with them over the next 3 years.”

Mammoth Events Director Amanda Gilmour stated: “2014 is going to be an incredibly busy year for us. We’ve already had several new client wins as well as being reappointed to deliver key projects for our existing clients.”
