Refurbishments at UVL venues mean more for events

Unique Venues of London members are making even more changes to the impressive consortium of 79 venues, to add to the perfect guide for event organisers and visitors to the city.
  In a series of renovations totalling more than £19 million, UVL members are adding shops, function rooms and interactive experiences to their already renowned selection of meetings and events spaces, which represent a cross section of the most exciting and diverse venues in London.

Signs of continued growth at Ukraine’s International Travel & Tourism Exhibition

Ukraine’s International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (UITT) confirmed its status as a must-attend trade event. Held at the end of March, 724 exhibitors promoted their destinations to over 22,000 visitors from Ukraine and its surrounding regions. The 19th edition of the show exceeded expectations, as this year, 60 destinations were represented- a 20% increase from 2012.

NFLUK have chosen The Mermaid’s auditorium on 24th May for one of their popular Fan Nights with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. Andrew although born in Washington DC is returning to London, the city he partly grew up in.

Heritage Motor Centre launches programme of lectures & workshops

The Heritage Motor Centre is launching a series of historical transport related lectures and workshops throughout 2013. Following customer feedback and recent focus group work, the centre has appointed a Family and Life Long Learning Officer, Emma Rawlinson, tasked with developing a program of informal learning opportunities for both adults and children, centred around the Museums collection.

Apsleys launches Chelsea Flower Show lunch menu

In celebration of Chelsea Flower Show, Apsleys, a Heinz Beck Restaurant at The Lanesborough is proud to introduce a floral themed lunch menu which will be offered from 21st May through to 25th May.
Three Michelin star holder, Heinz Beck has devised a menu with Executive Chef Heros De Agostinis full of flowery delights and a sensational selection of seasonal ingredients inspired by the array of herbs and flowers on show this year.
