Alain Ducasse and Wolfgang Puck prepare for unique dinner in London

Dorchester Collection’s luxury Mayfair hotel's The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane have revealed that for the first time in Europe, its two celebrated chefs Alain Ducasse and Wolfgang Puck will be combining their expert skills on June 25th for a unique dinner showcasing contemporary French and American cuisine, accompanied by iconic French vineyard and new world wines.  This follows a one-off event at Hotel Bel-Air which took place in Los Angeles last year that sold out to guests the moment it was announced.

Slapstick video sketches, Instagram images and Facebook campaign invite viewers to visit Bristol

A series of online films featuring one of the world’s best-loved animated characters, Gromit, will be unveiled from Thursday 30 May, as part of a campaign to promote Bristol as a fabulous summer destination for a short break. 
Commissioned by Destination Bristol, the film stars a five-foot sculpture of Gromit, one of 80 making up a major new public art trail called Gromit Unleashed, organised by Aardman Animations with charity partner The Grand Appeal.

40 tonnes and keeps growing, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre says no to waste

Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) has achieved a significant 40 tonnes or 25% in waste reduction, from 163 tonnes in 2011 to 124 tonnes in 2012, thanks to its commitment to responsible waste management.
Since opening in 2005, the Centre has had in place strict procedures aimed at reducing the amount of waste produced including a monitoring system that provides a comprehensive breakdown of how much waste each department generates to facilitate more accurate management (of the amount of waste produced) and to identify areas where waste efficiency can be enhanced.
