The purpose-built conference centre – which has been nominated for national awards again this year – launched the system to drive up standards as part of a continuous improvement culture.
Lane End named its quality management system Conference Fresh. Now the team is embarking on a new campaign to remind customers what they can expect as part of their meeting room hire experience.

Berlin is 3rd most popular convention destination in the world
Latest ICCA statistics have confirmed that Berlin has overtaken Barcelona
Berlin has moved into the top three international conference destinations, as shown by the latest statistics from the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA). Having hosted 172 events held by international associations in the past year, the German capital moved up one position to become the third most popular city for conferences and conventions in the world. London rises up in world’s business tourism rankings

Last year, in addition to hosting the Olympics and Paralympic Games, London hosted a record number of global business events which has now elevated the city’s status to sixth place globally.
