Shaping the future for business
A roadshow featuring state-of-the-art technologies to help boost business is making its way to the Midlands.SMART Board interactive whiteboards and eco projectors will be among the advancements being showcased at SHAPE 2012 when its tour of the UK and Ireland gets underway at The Belfry on Wednesday, May 9 from 8.30am.
The annual event, staged by technology distributor Steljes, is returning to the resort in Wishaw, Sutton Coldfield, after being successfully staged there last year.
Businesses in the region are being invited to attend to see how their productivity and effectiveness could benefit from the latest workplace technology sourced from around the world.
The interactive whiteboard is designed to replace the traditional flip chart with a time-saving digital alternative that aids effective collaboration during meetings and the BenQ eco projector uses a laser light rather than a conventional lamp resulting in up to 90 per cent less power consumption.
Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing director for Steljes, said: “Our annual technology roadshow is where we show our resellers and their customers what the latest technologies are for the business and education markets.
“This technology is widely used in schools throughout the UK and is now being adopted by the corporate market, especially in their boardrooms and training rooms, as it improves productivity as well as reducing costs and carbon footprint.
“We will be holding a series of seminars throughout the day for businesses, as well as education providers, to find out how these innovative advancements can make a difference in their workplace.”
