76 Portland Place is re-accredited with the AIM Standard from the Meetings Industry Association
76 Portland Place has announced it has been re-accredited with the prestigious AIM Gold Standard for excellence from the leading Meetings Industry Association (MIA).The ‘Gold Accredited In Meetings (AIM) certification’ symbolises the first class facilities and the very highest levels of service that are reflected throughout the conference experience. Assessors as well as clients expect efficient staff with an eye for detail, at a price reflective of the quality of the venue and service. The assessment reviews legal compliance; and a stringent on site review of customer service levels.
A sample of the feedback from the assessor states: “The venue has in place well defined and high service standards based around its service promise. There are clearly specified operational procedures to ensure that standards are met, staff are well trained, and customer feedback is obtained. Continuous improvement and innovation is central to the way in which the venue carries out its business. Staff are long serving, well briefed and work extremely well as a team with a strong commitment to environmental conservation.”
76 Portland Place is a high quality conference venue, located a stone’s throw from London’s famous Regent’s Park and within walking distance of five tube stations and a short drive, taxi or bus hop from major transport hubs including Euston, St Pancras and Marylebone. The venue skilfully combines contemporary facilities amidst the stunning backdrop of elegant Georgian architecture. From board meetings, conferences, corporate parties, training, team building, private dining to evening receptions, 76 Portland Place offers true flexibility to its customers.
Kate Meehan, director of 76 Portland Place said: “The team is delighted to have achieved the re-accreditation from the MIA. It is an accolade to our superb facilities and services and the careful attention to detail that we have achieved the re-accreditation and I would like to thank everyone that was involved. The re-accreditation process involved a rigorous assessment by an independent expert with vast knowledge of the meetings industry. I consider this re-accreditation as another validation of our continuous efforts to be the number one venue to meet, train and entertain in central London.”
The MIA is the leading meetings association for the meetings industry and the keepers of AIM, the only meetings industry standard endorsed by Visit Britain. Achievement of the AIM higher Silver or Gold Award demonstrates that a venue has attained continuous exceptional standards against the most stringent quality assurance criteria, including a rigorous assessment focusing specifically on a venue’s facilities, services and processes.
