'The Fringe' pops-up for the London 2012 Olympics

The Fringe, a private members’ club, will set up home in a stunning 4 storey mid 20th Century Victorian warehouse, just a 100 metres walk from the Olympic Park, bringing together the very best in hospitality, food and drink, live music, interior design and brand activation space. This one-of-a-kind venue will open the week before the Opening Ceremony and operate throughout the Olympic Games.

The ready-to-host venue, located in old Victorian stables and warehousing at Swan Wharf, boasts a riverside location overlooking the main Olympic Stadium, minutes walk from trackside and offers those who attend an exclusive environment to take in all the Olympic action. The Fringe is curated by some of London’s finest designers, chefs, artists and innovators, coming together to create an exceptional experience.

The venue will serve as an all day/all night retreat, from 0900am, offering premium food, bar and cocktail lounges, LCD screens broadcasting the main Olympic events, the best of British food at The Fringe’s ‘Great British Food Market,’ and live pop-up performances by world-class musicians. Taking guests from day to night is The Fringe’s After Party, with live DJs, dancing and lounge areas, licensed till 2am, daily. Tickets will be available for purchase 6th of June, with membership rates starting at £100 per day. Membership allows access to these 5 star exclusive services and includes entry to all entertainment events.

For those eager to avoid the crowds, and arrive in comfort and style, private transport boats, ‘Water Chariots,’ are available throughout day to take passengers to and from The Fringe. Departure points include Limehouse Basin, directly to The Fringe’s private pontoon, a 45 minute congestion-free ride.

The venue’s four floors boast 40,000 square feet and holds up to 2,500 occupants. The Fringe is now available for private bookings and rentals, special events and requests, all of which can be tailored to meet personalized entertaining needs, with it’s public days  including artist listings and  playlists being released in mid May.
